A thin strip of land in residential Horley is to go under the auctioneer's hammer.
The freehold site, next to 80 to 86 Oakwood Road, is guide priced at £250-plus, reflecting its curved and narrow boomerang shape.
Extending to 0.2-acres, the plot is among 30 lots being sold across the area by land and property auctioneers Clive Emson.
Sam Kinloch, senior auction valuer, said: "We anticipate keen interest, especially from local residents. “The strip of land comprises mature conifers and forms part of an embankment of a private road."
Starting at 11am, the third of Clive Emson's eight regional sales this year will take place at The Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, on Wednesday, May 7.
Clive Emson , a property and land auctioneer to estate agents, commercial property agents, statutory bodies and private clients, has a reach across southern England, from Kent to Cornwall, and is one of the top four auctioneers in the UK by way of value and volume of residential sales, and sixth over-all.
