Revellers in Reigate had a ball raising a record amount for local charity Action For Carers Surrey.
The Caterham Ball Committee recently hosted a Disney Through The Ages-themed black tie dinner evening at the Reigate Manor hotel to raise money for the cause.
The Ball Committee spent months organising the annual event, which last year saw £1,000 raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital in London.
But this year's event topped that, raising £1,270 for Action For Carers Surrey.
The evening saw guests sit down to a five-course meal, during which famous Disney theme tunes were played to them, followed by fun with a Disney dress-up booth available for them to dress up and pose as their favourite characters in front of the famous Princess' castle.
A caricaturist was also on hand to put guests into their own cartoon picture as a souvenir of the evening.
A raffle of prizes donated by local businesses, was also held.
Committee member Carly Hansen said: “This year’s theme has all been about reminiscing about your childhood and remembering what’s important to you.
“By choosing a local charity, we have been able to mirror the theme and demonstrate the importance of community giving.
“The result has been that guests had a fabulous evening, gave generously and helped us raise our highest fundraising amount yet.”
