Young gymnastics aces from Reigate's Sovereign Gymnastics Club are celebrating gaining a place in the finals of the National Qualifying Sports Acrobatics Competition.

Morgan Musgrove and Emily Kirby of Sovereign Gymnastics Club took the gold medal for their performance as a Grade 4 Mixed Pair at the competition's heat held in Tunbridge Wells recently.

Achieving first place with their dramatic Flamenco routine, they will now compete against winners from regions across the UK in the the National Finals at the end of May.

Narrowly missing out on gold were the club's Grade 5 Women’s Trio - Addie Knight, Amelia Killington and Ella-May Moxley. They performed two balance and dynamic routines to take the silver medal, while fellow club members Antonia Davies and Ruby Bunting took sixth place, managing to perform despite Ruby suffering an injury on the day.
