Singers are being invited to join in a performance of a classic in South Nutfield next month.

The South Nutfield Choral Society's Come and Sing Mozart's Requiem will be performed in Christ Church, South Nutfield, on Saturday, April 5.

Singers will be welcome to the performance, whether they have sung the Requiem before or not, and copies will be provided for those who do not have their own.

The event will start with a rehearsal at 3pm, led by members of the choral society and their conductor, Christopher Pratt.

Tea will be provided during the break and the performance itself will begin at 6.30pm.

Friends and family of those taking part will be welcome to attend and listen, and to join everyone afterwards for a glass of wine or soft drinks.

There will be a charge of £15 per person for those taking part, with students under 16 £5.

A retiring collection will be taken for members of the audience attending the evening performance.
