Folk music star Julie Felix was in Merstham recently to drop in on the Susy Radio 103.4 studios for a chat about her career.
The singing star, who rose to fame in the folk movement of the 1960s and 1970s, chatted to the community radio station's presenter David Jay about her life and plans for the future.
Speaking on the station's Tea Break programme, the singer, whose career included being a resident guest on the ground-breaking 1960s TV show The Frost Report, hosted by the late Sir David Frost, talked about her love of performing live, ahead of her show last week at The Hawth in Crawley.
Julie, whose songs include This Land is Your Land and The Zoo Song (Going to the Zoo), will be celebrating 50 years in the music world with a special concert at the Assembly Rooms in Glastonbury on June 14 - her birthday.
David Jay said: “It was a delight to talk to Julie on the Tea Break, and it was very good of her to take time out of her busy schedule to come and visit us.”
