This year's Gatwick Diamond Expo business event has been set for Wednesday, April 2.

The event, created to support local business by providing a showcase event for consumers and other businesses, is expected to draw more than 1,000 visitors.

It will take place at K2 leisure centre off the A23 Brighton Road in Crawley, with more than 100 stands being mounted to show off a broad cross-section of local companies.

There will also be a full free programme of seminars and clinics designed to help businesses grow.

Trevor Inglis, managing director of organisers Meadow Marketing Limited, said: “I am delighted to be working with a number of local organisations, including Crawley Borough Council and Gatwick Diamond Business, to provide this much- needed service within the Gatwick Diamond.”

He said: “This is part of our long-term plan to ensure a steady growth for the only professional exhibition dedicated to local businesses, and I look forward to making the Gatwick Diamond Expo part of the local scene for many years.”

The Expo will run from 9.30am to 5pm with free parking and associated facilities.
