Mole Valley Ramblers have organised two half-day circular walks to be held on Saturday, February 8, before the Ramblers' Surrey Area annual general meeting.

Both walks will start at 10.30am from East Horsley Village Hall, Kingston Avenue, East Horsley.

Mole Valley will lead the shorter walk of approximately four to five miles, while Brian Reader, the Area Footpath Secretary, will lead the longer walk of approximately five to six miles in the direction of the Sheepleas, and possibly including one or two of the Lovelace bridges.

A light lunch will be provided before the annual general meeting, which will start at 2pm with the guest speaker being the new Ramblers' director of services, Christine Grant. For details call 020 8393 2388 or 07726 724046.

On Sunday, February 9, Mole Valley Ramblers will hold a half-day circular seven-mile walk in the Bookham area, starting at 9.30am in the Tunnel car park, 100 yards east of Bookham Station, and going over flat ground via Bookham Common, Effingham Junction and Ridings Plantation.
