Reigate's picturesque Gatton Park will begin its calendar of open days for the year next month.

The gardens and grounds in Rocky Lane will be open to visitors to enjoy and take in the features, including a bird hide, a restored Victorian parterre at the centre of the estate, and restored rock and Japanese gardens, on Sunday, February 2, from 1pm to 5pm.

Gatton Park's scenic features are situated in 250 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown-designed parkland. There will be guided tours available during the afternoon and refreshments will be available in Gatton Hall. Admission is £4 per adult, with children free, and dogs welcome on a lead. Gatton Park is open on the first Sunday of the month from February to October. The gardens and park will be open again on Sunday, February 9, from noon to 4pm, when visitors will be able to enjoy seeing the snowdrops there.

Gatton Park will be open again on Sunday, February 16, from 11am to 4pm, as part of the National Gardens Scheme, and it will be open for Snowdrop Week from Monday, February 17, to Friday, February 21, from noon to 4pm.

It will hold another gardens and park open day on Sunday, February 23, from noon to 4pm.
