Detectives from East Surrey CID are investigating two more incidents of indecent exposure in Earlswood and Ashtead.

The first incident happened in Woodlands Road, Earlswood, at about 5.50pm on Sunday, June 9, when a man was seen indecently exposing himself.

The second incident was reported to police last Wednesday (June 12) at 4pm when a man was seen indecently exposing himself near to Epsom Road, Ashtead. The man in the Earlswood incident was described as white, aged between 20 and 30, slim and around 5ft 9ins tall.

He was wearing a stripped cream and burgundy hooded top, blue jeans and trainers.

The man seen at Ashtead was of similar description but was wearing a grey hooded jumper and grey tracksuit bottoms. Investigating officer Detective Constable Heather Francis said: “Over the past week we have received a couple of reports of men indecently exposing themselves in the East Surrey area and detectives are working closely with local neighbourhood officers to establish if the incidents are connected.”

Det Con Francis said: “At this stage in the investigation we are keeping an open mind as to whether the same man is responsible, and I would urge anyone with information to share this with officers.

“Indecent exposures can be deeply upsetting and traumatic for those who witness them and we need to find those responsible and bring them to justice.”

Anyone with information is urged to contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference RB/13/4542, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
