Horley Local History Society's talk dates on Crawley's past and Polish wartime refugees

Gillian Pitt of Crawley Museum will talk about the history of the new town and its environs at the next meeting of Horley Local History Society at the Strawson Hall, 156 Albert Road, Horley, next Thursday (March 28) at 8pm. Visitors £1.

And on Thursday, April 25, the society will play host to Weis Rogalski of the Rural Life Museum, who will talk about the lives of Polish refugees during the Second World War, and the role they played in rural affairs in the Thursley area.
