Firefighters tackle Copthorne house blaze

Horley firefighters joined colleagues from East Grinstead and Lingfield tackling a house blaze in Copthorne.
The fire last Friday (March 1) at about 1.20pm, started accidentally, the flames spreading from a wood burner in the ground floor lounge of the house in Domewood.
Four firefighters put on breathing apparatus and used two hose reels and a jet to douse the fire, which destroyed about 20% of the lounge, and left about 80% of it damaged by smoke.
