Early hours arson attack in Horley

An arsonist set light to a car on a residential street in Horley in the early hours.
Police are appealing for information after neighbours found the white Suzuki Swift alight in Lumley Road at about 1am on Thursday, February 14.
The residents raised the alarm, telling the car's owner of the blaze.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: “Since the offence took place, officers have made several enquiries in the local area, and have arrested a man, who has been released on police bail until Thursday, March 28, while the investigation continues.” Anyone with information is being urged to call Surrey Police on 101, quoting reference RB/13/1223, or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
