Gatton Park in Reigate will hold its next open day on Sunday, March 3, from 1pm to 5pm. The gardens and grounds will be open to visitors to enjoy and take in the features, including a bird hide, a restored Victorian parterre at the centre of the estate, and restored rock and Japanese gardens, situated in 250 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown-designed parkland. There will be free guided tours available during the afternoon, and free activities for children.
Admission is £4 per adult, with children free, and two-for-one entry for members of the Surrey Hills Society.
Gatton Park is open on the first Sunday of the month from February to October. Website: www.gattonpark.com
