Girl injured in Redhill collision

Police are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was injured in a collision with a car in Redhill.
The collision, involving a silver Volkswagen Golf, happened near the junction of Linkfield Lane and Batts Hill yesterday at about 9am.
The girl was treated at the scene by an ambulance crew and was then taken to St George's Hospital in Tooting for treatment.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
The driver of the car, a man in his 80s, was not injured during the collision.
Road closures were put in place while emergency crews were at the scene.
