Reigate kitchen appliance centre puts the coffee on for vital cause

Few places seem more fitting when it comes to cooking up a coffee morning in Reigate than a kitchen appliance centre – and many locals obviously had the same thought.
For residents popped into RDO Kitchen Appliances' showroom in Bancroft Road for coffee and cake last week as part of Macmillan Cancer Support's annual fundraiser, the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.
The showroom team served up coffee and treats to raise funds for the charity's work, which includes the efforts of the Macmillan nurses, who help thousands of people every year in the region alone, dealing with cancer.
The coffee morning raised more than £140 for the cause.
RDO Kitchen Appliances owner Roger Sargant, said: “I would like to say a big thank you to all of those who donated money at our coffee morning. “I am delighted with the response and am proud that RDO Kitchen Appliances is able to support such a worthwhile cause.”
The Reigate and Salfords-based business is this year celebrating its 60th anniversary.
