Merstham music shop celebrates refurbishment

Long-established music shop Potters Music in Merstham will be holding a special day to celebrate its refurbishment this Saturday (September 15).
Owner Emma Newton and her team will be on hand to supervise the music fun at the store at 12 to 18 High Street from 9.30am to 5pm.
The Violin Room will host taster sessions with resident violin teacher Rachel Donaldson, local guitar guru Bob Cranham, best known for helping Newton Faulkner to international stardom, will be on hand to show people around his new teaching studio, the Archie Newton Trio will be playing live, and Newton Guitars will display their broad range of instruments available for beginners and professionals, and an array of vintage and collectable guitars, including an ultra-rare 1956 Gibson Les Paul for anyone with the odd £14,000 to spend.
There will also be a raffle, treasure hunt, special deals, and free refreshments available.
