A car was set alight causing damage to an industrial unit in an early hours arson attack in Horley.
The arsonist struck at Ramworth in Charlwood Road in the early hours of yesterday.
Seven fire crews from Horley, Crawley, Reigate and Godstone went to the scene at just after midnight.
The unit was well alight on their arrival and eight firefighters put on breathing apparatus and used two hoses to bring the flames under control.
A spokesman for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said a car underneath a loading bay had been set alight.
He said about ten per cent of the building had been damaged by smoke and fire.
An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
