SOPRANO Denise Leigh, the blind winner of TV's Operatunity, will perform at Reigate Summer Music festival in July.

Tribute acts will perform in Priory Park, Reigate, on Saturday, July 19, and the Philharmonic Firework Spectacular the following day will feature The Symphony Orchestra of the Camerata of London.

TRUMPET player Crispian Steele-Perkins will be hosting a master class for promising brass players at Reigate Grammar School next Monday at 7.30pm. The event is part of Redhill and Reigate Music Festival.

Mr Steele-Perkins has played on more than 80 film and television scores, including James Bond and the BBC Antiques Roadshow. He has also worked with Kate Bush, Chris Rea, Dame Kiri Te Kanawa and Lesley Garrett.
