EMERGENCY contraception for women under 21 is now available free from pharmacies in East Surrey.
Emergency Hormonal Contraception, also known as the morning after pill and suitable for avoiding pregnancy for up to 72 hours after sex, was previously only available from clinics.
Surrey Primary Care Trust introduced it to pharmacies including Boots in High Street, Redhill, Lloyds Pharmacy in Victoria Road, Horley, and Townsend Chemist Woodhatch in Western Parade, Reigate, because they are easier to get to and open at more convenient times.
