Members of Horley Bowling Club relived a highlight of their club's centenary celebrations of last year with a trip to the famous home ground of the Chelsea Pensioners.
A coach with 41 bowlers and members of Horley made the journey to the Chelsea Pensioners' green at the Royal Chelsea Hospital.
The match was a return fixture from when the Chelsea Pensioners took on Horley Bowling Club at their green in the Recreation Ground in Brighton Road amid Horley's programme of 100th anniversary celebrations.
Irene Bennett of Horley Bowling Club said the return visit was a great day for the Horley bowlers.
She said: “The match was played on a beautiful sunny day with some interesting bowling and excellent hospitality.
“This proved to be a great day out.”
