This year's Dormansland Carnival will take place at Dormansland Recreation Ground in High Street, Dormansland, on Saturday, July 12, from 2pm to 9pm.
The free family event, organised by Dormansland Carnival Committee, will be themed on Brazil and will start at 2pm with the carnival procession from New Farthingdale. At the recreation ground the attractions will include children's rides, games and stalls, a Punch and Judy show, Zumba demonstrations and a novelty dog show.
There will also be a tug-of-war competition and beer and refreshments tents.
