Police are appealing for witnesses after burglars raided a home in Reigate and escaped with a safe and high-value gold jewellery.
The burglars struck at the home in Windermere Way on Friday, April 25.
At some point between 11am and 3.20pm, the raiders got into the property and stole jewellery including bangles, necklaces, earrings and various watches.
Police have not commented on how much the stolen valuables are worth, other than to say it was a high-value gold burglary.
Investigating Officer John Botham said: "The safe would have been too heavy for just one person to lift and so this crime must have involved at least two people, who we believe would have loaded it into a vehicle parked in the driveway at the property.”
He said: "We have issued pictures of some of the jewellery that was taken in the hope that if it is seen it will be recognised as stolen property because of its distinctive nature.”
Anyone with information should contact Surrey Police on 101, quoting the reference number 45140033179.
