Merstham Amateur Dramatic Society (MADS) has announced its next production will be a comedy from the pen of Alan Ayckbourn, directed by a guest director.
For Tricia Whyte from the Oxted Players will direct Neighbourhood Watch, the latest play from Alan Ayckbourn to be released for amateurs.
The play, telling of the setting up of a neighbourhood watch group beset by couples' marital mayhem, and in which an ornamental garden gnome has a central part to play, will be presented at Merstham Village Hall in Station Road North, Merstham, from October 22 to 24.
There will be a reading of the play at the Church Room, Merstham, on Monday, April 7, at 7.45pm, and people are welcome to attend to listen or to read.
