Reigate firecrew frees motorist trapped after collision

Reigate firefighters used hydraulic cutting gear to free a motorist trapped in their car after it was in collision with a lorry.

The crew were called to the Reigate and M23 turn-off at Junction 8 of the M25 at just after 2.40pm on Tuesday (March 11).

The firefighters cut the motorist free and made the scene safe, while an ambulance crew took the motorist to hospital.
