A 42 year-old man who was wanted for a recall to prison has been arrested in Smallfield.
Mark Sleman, also known as Archie Sleman and Stuart Holmes, from Exeter, was wanted by Devon and Cornwall Police after failing to abide by the conditions of his release from prison.
He was originally convicted of armed robbery.
Investigating officers liaised with Surrey Police, who arrested Sleman on Thursday afternoon (January 16) in the Smallfield area.
A Surrey Police spokeswoman said: “He remains in custody and he will be returned to prison.”
Detective Inspector Richard Hamlin of Surrey Police, said: “I am pleased we have been able to locate Sleman and that he will now be returned to prison.”
