A New Year Pet and Equine Fair will be held at Betchworth Village Hall next week.
The fair, hosted by Priory Vets of Evesham Road, Reigate, will take place at the hall in Station Road from 7.30pm next Tuesday (January 21). The event will feature around 20 stalls, mainly mounted by local businesses, either selling products, promoting charities or demonstrating animal-related services. There will also be several drug companies running interactive stalls to promote specific animal disease awareness, such as pet diabetes or stomach ulcers in horses. In addition, the Priory Vets' first Pet of the Year award ceremony will take place.
More than 50 entries have been put forward, with stories ranging from owners who just adore their pets, to animals who have helped find injured people, pets who have helped owners or friends through cancer, and a variety of animals who have had to recover or deal with serious illness or injury during the last year.
