Women's World Day of Prayer service in Horley
11:15am Wednesday 13th February 2013 in News
Worshippers from all the Christian churches in Horley will be joining together on Friday, March 1, alongside fellow worshippers around the world in prayer for this year's Women’s World Day of Prayer (WWDP).
The service will be held at Lee Street Church in Lee Street, Horley, at 2pm, with Carol Tomlinson the speaker.
All are welcome to join in the service, which will be followed by tea and coffee.
Women's World Day of Prayer is an international and interdenominational charity and network of Christian women on a worldwide scale, which reaches into communities. Preparations go on for months until worshippers gather to celebrate using a programme of worship.
This year's programme has been written by the Women of France, with the theme, “I Was a Stranger and You Welcomed Me.”
For more information and details of other services in the area see the WWDP website: www.wwdp-natcomm.org
