Drinking debate hits bottom 20
Surrey is one of the top 20 areas with the lowest rates of alcohol-related hospital admissions in the country.
That was the finding in data published by the Department of Health.
Anna Raleigh, associate director of public health at Surrey Primary Care Trust, welcomed the news but said: "However, we want to reduce the harm that
alcohol can do to an absolute minimum and that's why I'd encourage everyone to complete the Big Drink Debate survey so we can be sure we have the full picture for Surrey."
