Shannon: missing since Monday

Police have appealed for help amid growing concern for two missing teenage girls.

The girls, Zoe Clasper, 15, and Shannon Watson, 14, have been missing from their home in Redhill since Monday.

The pair left their home on Monday shortly before 2pm.

It is believed they are together and were spotted in the town yesterday.

The girls are known to have links in the Coulsdon and Crawley areas.

Zoe is white, 5ft 4in tall, slim, with blue eyes and long blonde hair, and was wearing a white top, blue denim hotpants, long pink and white stripey socks and white shoes.

She was carrying a dark and light blue rucksack.

Shannon is also white, 5ft 5in tall, slim, with blue eyes and long blonde hair, and was wearing a pink top with the words "Lipgloss, it's the law" written on it, black knee-length shorts, long stripey knee-length pink and black socks and black trainers.

Sharon Stone of East Surrey Missing Persons Unit, said: "We are obviously concerned for Zoe and Shannon and want to know they are safe and well."

She said: "They were not carrying mobile phones, nor did they have any money with them, so if anyone knows anything about their whereabouts, or recognises them from the photographs, please contact us immediately."

Anyone with information should call Surrey Police on 0845 125 2222 and ask for the missing persons team at Caterham Police Station.
