Horley, courtesy of a sparkling 15-over spell from Adam Bunce, got their maiden 2008 victory at Horley Row as Byfleet, who won the toss, were despatched for just 59 runs, having decided to bat first.
Bunce took 7-27 while Norman (2-13) and Richard Laker (1-0) took the other three wickets as the visitors struggled to their meagre total.
In their reply Horley lost three wickets but David Stevens scored 30 not out at number three after both Jonathan Smith (11) and Phil Norman (8) suffered unfortunate run -outs. Horley wrapped up victory before tea and accept 20 more than useful points, Byfleet take just one.

Skipper Abdul Razzaqs' side acquired their third victory in four weeks as they ran out winners by seven wickets in a run feast at Byfleet.
Asked to bat first, the hosts were indebted to Hanson (69), co-opener Oliver (44) and Golding (55 not out) for the majority of their runs as Deepal Ahangama (three) and Angus Kirk (two) took the five wickets to fall.
Paul Kirkham, who has been devoid of runs this term, made a patient 37 and Fizal Nadir (78) and Dave Hyde (80 not out) saw the visitors home with 4.3 overs remaining. Another welcome twenty points were gained as Byfleet take five.
Godalming 208
Horley 181-8
Horley suffered defeat at the quarter-final stage of the League Cup competition as the experienced Derek Agge scored 123 of his side's 208 all out after Horley skipper Stuart MacPherson had won the toss.
Opener Agge and partner Harry Mayne (39) put on 120 for the first wicket in quick time before the latter's demise to Glenn Rodgers (2-51).
Agge was dropped of Lewis Tomkins' first delivery before he at sixth change bowler went on to realise 4-9. Stuart MacPherson also bagged a quadruple with similar figures, as Godalming skipper Milner at number three was the only other batsman to make double figures.
Horley too witnessed a century opening partnership as Jonathan Smith (89) and Phil Norman (35) put their side in with a shout of progressing to the semi-finals.
However, after these two were separated Horley's advancement was thwarted by Hickey (3-30), Steel (2-31) and Agge (1-23) as only David Stevens (13) made a score of any consequence. Godalming now proceed to the semi-final after their 27 run success.

Dormansland 183
Horley achieved the unusual result of a tie at Dormansland as they posted a reasonable score.
Without some of their more experienced players being unavailable for this match Horley were indebted to youngsters Angus Kirk (45) and Matt Perrow (32 not out) for the majority of their score as John Elmer made 38, Matt Lee 15 and George Clarke 14.
The hosts lost wickets at regular intervals after openers Dodgeson (38) and Kay (25) got their team of to a good start.
Kay was bowled neck and crop by Alex Elmer (2-31) who sent the off peg cartwheeling.
Phillips (64) at number four put his side in control before the returning MacFarlane (3-37) and Matt Perrow (2-49) gained just rewards for the visitors.
With the scores level and at the fall of the last wicket a tie had accrued as Martin Woollcott and Angus Kirk both took vital wickets.
