Twins on form
Horley U14 118-2 dec
Felbridge U14 69-7
AFTER a cautious start, and the early retirement due to injury of Eliot Strode, Horley's batsmen took full control.
A majestic 49 from David Perrow, with shots to all parts of the ground and out of it, ably supported by Michael Thomas, 21, took the score to 81 off 13 overs. Then a quickfire 32 not out from the other twin Mathew Perrow took the final score to 118 off 19 overs.
Felbridges reply was soon in trouble, with two wickets in the first over from Mathew Ware (2-13) and another in the next over from Mathew Perrow (1-9) reduced Felbridge to 4-3.
With more tight bowling and excellent all-round fielding from David Perrow (2-9) backed up by excellent ground fielding Felbridge never achieved the required run rate and fell 39 runs short.
Horley U16 138-7 Cullen 4-19, Three Bridges U16 122-8 A Kirk (3-18), L Forsdick (3-13)
Horley U13 84-8, Horsham 2nd 34 all out.
