Always a bridesmaid but never the bride after 27 weddings, Heigl plays the eminently likeable Jane who is looking for the man of her dreams.
And just as the habitual bridesmaid is set to change her luck and tell her boss George (Edward Burns) that she has fallen for him, her attractive sister Tess (Malin Akerman) steals her thunder.
But thereÕs always journalist Kevin (James Marsden) to fall back on, but can she really trust him?

He is a cardboard cut out journalist character so can she really trust him or is he just interested in the story of the perennial bridesmaid.
And more importantly who is really Mr Right?
27 Dresses doesnÕt win any prizes for originality but it is an enjoyable and charming enough little rom com with plenty of laughs.
The chemistry between Heigl and Marsden is certainly there and Akerman does a fine job as Tess.
