St John volunteer honoured
Commander Tony Mallard and Derek Compton

A RETIRED civil servant from Horley has been recognised for 28 year service to St John Ambulance.

Derek Compton, 78, was presented with a St John Ambulance Commander's Commendation Certificate last week after being on duty 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
