OVER 120 pupils from eight Bridport Schools have been trying out a little Be Bop A Lula this week.
The youngsters have been taking part in a choral and dance festival based on songs and music from the 1950s and 1960s rock 'n' roll era.
The festival was named after the 1956 song by Gene Vincent, which was later covered extensively by such stars as The Beatles, David Cassidy and the Everly Brothers.
Pupils from schools came together yesterday afternoon at the Sir John Colfox School for a dress rehearsal.
They later put on a performance for parents and visitors after school to show what they had learnt.
