Evesham Utd 1, Willenhall 2 A second successive home defeat doesn't spell the end of Evesham's play-off chances but on the evidence of tonight's showing they will be hard pushed to get back in the top five.

Paul West's men were handed the ideal start when James Fox netted from close-range after Mark Owen had lobbed the keeper after six minutes.

Chances were at a premium in a scrappy game and Simon Fitter's lapse allowed Craig Milligan to level with the final kick of the first half.

More slack midfield play gave Stuart Skitt the chance to lob Nathan Vaughan from 20 yards and he did it expertly to leave the disjointed Robins 2-1 adrift after 53 minutes.

Evesham rarely looked like getting back into the game until a spell of pressure saw Mark Owen twice go close and James Fox see another shot kept out by Dean Coleman.

Fox finished weakly three minutes from time but it was the visitors who almost had the final say when Calum Martin fired inches over in stoppage time.
