A MOTORIST and passenger from the Warminster area were involved in a fatal car crash on Saturday.
They were in a black VW Golf driving towards Stonehenge on the A360 at a junction known as Airman's Cross just before 2pm when it was in collision with a red Ford vehicle driven by a 20-year-old woman from the Salisbury area.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene while the driver and passenger of the VW Golf were treated for minor injuries but did not need hospital attention.
The road was closed for more than four hours and police are appealing for witnesses.
