TEMPERS flared at Wroughton in their game against Devizes with two players seeing red and visiting boss Kevin Whitbread being sent from the dug-out.

Wroughton goalkeeper Curtis Sharkey was sent off for dissent while Devizes lost Matt Smith for a similar offence before the Devizes boss followed them for an early bath.

Dean Potter gave the visitors the lead midway through the first-half, a lead they held until a couple of minutes before the break. Rich Saunders provided the cross for the equaliser with Lee Curtis adding the finishing touch for the home side.

In a tough second-half Curtis struck again for the home side with Potter equalising in the closing stages for Devizes.

Wroughton boss Mark Love said: " It was a pretty physical game and I thought it was a couple of points lost rather than one gained. We should have taken more advantage when they were down to 10 men."

Blueprint Chiseldon manager Chokri Kartit hit out at the officials after his team lost 2-1 against Calne. He claimed Calne's last-minute goal did not cross the line, saying: "My defender chested the ball down and cleared it. In my opinion the linesman and the referee were in no position to award a goal. I thought it was a dreadful decision and it cost my side a point."

Blueprint were leading from a first-half penalty until Ally Duncan equalised in the 85th minute and Darren Legg was adjudged to have scored a last-minute winner.

Westside boss Joe O'Rourke said his side were awful as they slumped to a 3-0 home defeat by Melksham.

"We never got going and hardly created an opportunity," said O'Rourke. "Hopefully we can try and put it right by next week when we have an important cup match."

Matt Oakland (2) and Jamie Taylor were on target for Melksham.

Corsham took over the leadership of the section following their 2-0 win over visitors AFC Trowbridge and look set to lift the Premier division title with so many games in hand. Ross Lye and Jason Walsh were on target.

Purton Reserves were beaten 2-0 at the Red House by visitors Pewsey Vale, Darren Tapper and Neil Stevens the scorers.

Marlborough Town fought hard at Westbury before going down 3-0 and Malmesbury Vics scored twice in the last 10 minutes through Toby Horton and Ben Pemberton to beat visitors Bromham 2-1.

Leaders of Division One, Pinehurst OB had to pull out all the stops to beat visitors Minety 3-2. A penalty from Arran Welland and a strike from Shane Davis gave the home side a two-goal lead but Minety fought back to level midway through the second-half. With both sides looking to share the points Pinehurst substitute Shane Dodson snatched the winner with four minutes remaining.

Second-placed AFC Castrol beat Biddestone 2-1 with goals from Dave Gee while Aldbourne continued their recent good form with a 3-1 away win over AFC Rodbourne.

Goals from Robin Simpson, Kieran Jennings and Marcel gave Marlborough Town Reserves a deserved 3-0 win over Stratton Rovers.

Matt Fryer scored twice with one from Steve Hewlett to give Abbey Rodbourne a 3-0 away success at Westlecot.

In Division Two, leaders Lower Stratton need just two more points to become champions of the section following their 4-2 victory over nearest rivals Wroughton Reserves.

Trailing 2-1 at the break Stratton fought back in the second half with two goals from Rich New, Rich Baker and Liam New.

Richard Wells and Simon Dyminsky netted for Stratton Juniors in their 2-0 win over Dynamo CDR to boost their chances of taking runners-up spot.

Blunsdon Reserves became the first team in all three leagues to complete their fixtures for the season, signing off with a 1-1 draw with visitors AFC Chippenham, Joe White scoring a second-half equaliser for the Swindon side.

Blyskawica reached the semi-finals of the Fountain Trophies Junior Cup defeating Castle Combe 2-1. Jeremy Hope and Tom Kopinsky netted for the home side and Danny Gurnon for the visitors.
