MORE than 300 music fans from Teesdale will go to an annual gig next month on the same day as its organisers learn where their future lies.
The Big Live Gig, organised by Teesdale Community Resources (TCR), will showcase ten young Teesdale rock bands on Friday, November 24, the same day as Teesdale District Council considers a planning application for the organisation's new premises.
Only once has the event, now in its seventh year, not sold out within a few weeks of the tickets going on sale.
This year's event features The Blue 42s, The Catch, The Experiment, Fingerwizards and Abi Harisson among others.
The event will be held at The Jersey Farm Hotel, Barnard Castle, at 7pm. Tickets are £5 in advance from TCR on 01833-690150.
