Before Southampton City Council's budget setting meeting, Conservative councillor Jeremy Moulton and his party made much of their pledges about expediture and council services.
I noticed on Cllr Moulton's website, the Tories promised free bus travel across Hampshire for pensioners and disabled people, they promise a 10% reduction in council tax for pensioners and pledged to scrap council tax for special constables yet despite entering into a deal with the Lib Dem administration they failed to deliver on any of these promises.
I would be more than happy to send Cllr Moulton a book on negotiation skills so that next time he enters into a deal with the Lib Dems he manages to achieve something beneficial.
