A FOUNTAIN of water gushed into the air when a pipe burst on High Street in Alcester.
The pipe, next to some roadworks, burst on Friday, March 19 at about 4.30pm.
A customer called Severn Trent and engineers were immediately sent out.
The pipe was fixed by 8.50pm that evening.
A Severn Trent spokesman said: "We do not know the cause just yet but the leak was dealt with as soon as possible and has been totally repaired now."
