EXMOOR people who cannot afford to get onto the housing ladder could soon be able to get their hands on six new affordable homes in Dulverton.
The latest development, at Pixton Way, providing a mixture of flats, a bungalow and family homes, is due to be completed for Magna West Somerset Housing Association by mid June.
To be eligible, house buyers will have had to have lived in the parish or an adjoining one in Exmoor National Park for ten years, need to live in the parish to care for someone who has lived there for ten years, or a need to live in the parish as an essential part of employment.
The six homes will of two one-bedroom flats, one two-bedroom bungalow, two two-bedroom houses and one three-bedroom house.
