I am Alma Tanquay (nee Thurgood) and have been living in the USA since 1946. I lived in Church Grove, Warwick Road and Cedars Road and went to Hampton Wick Public School and St Marks in Teddington.
I worked at Sands Millinery in Kingston before entering the WRAF as an MT driver stationed, at Biggin Hill and at Waterbeach, Cambridge.
I met and married my husband, Ralph, in May 1945. I would like to contact some of my friends that used to live in Hampton Wick. If it's possible could you put a few words in your paper with my address?
