MR COX (Missing link, Letters, January 30) asks what more does the cyclist want?
The answer is quite simple. When every traffic direction or prohibition sign in York is accompanied by one reading "Except Cyclists" or "Cyclists Only", he will be happy.
Furthermore, as one approaching the fourscore, I sometimes wish that the traffic authorities in York paid a little more attention to those of limited mobility and a little less to the demands of the cycling minority.
