Schoolchildren in the Kendal area are being invited to take part in an art competition that could win £250 prizemoney for their school.

Bradford & Bingley has joined forces with the World Wildlife Foundation to run the competition, which aims to teach pupils about the plight of endangered animals worldwide.

Any child aged under 13 can enter the competition, which has been launched as part of Bradford & Bingley's save more than you think' young savers campaign.

To take part, children must draw a picture of their favourite animal using a form available from the Kendal branch of Bradford & Bingley, and return their completed entry form to the branch on Highgate by next Wednesday, November 1. So far, five local schools have signed up for the competition.
