POLICE are continuing to appeal for information after a man was found in a flat in Radcliffe with serious head injuries.
Officers were called to a flat in St John's Court shortly before 10pm on Saturday, September 30, when naeighbours became concerned for the man's welfare.
Once inside the flat, they found a 51-year-old man with serious head injuries.
He is currently in a very poorly but stable condition in Hope Hospital.
The victim was last seen in Radcliffe town centre on Friday afternoon at approximately 2pm.
Police believe that he was assaulted at some point on Saturday.
A 23-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has been released without charge. Police are still appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area surrounding the flats at any time on Saturday to contact them on 0161 856 8248 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
