The UK and the US are going head to head in the ring as wrestling returns to the Brighton Centre after a seven-year gap.

The Sunday afternoon show is set to feature some huge names of wrestling - including the man who calls himself the American Rockstar.

CJ Summers, a native of Seaside Heights, New Jersey, is stopping off in Brighton as part of a whirlwind tour of Europe.

CJ, who was trained by American wrestling legends Iron Mike Sharpe and Dory Funk Jr, is famous for his trademark moves the Frog Splash and the top rope Frankensteiner, both of which feature his own brand of daredevil high-flying in the ring.

Joining him is fellow countryman Tim Moura, a Californian on his first trip to Britain.

Fighting on his home turf will be four-time Wrestler of the Year Doug "The Anarchist"

Williams, fresh from a five-month stay in Japan.

The former judo champion is famous for his submission holds, including his finishing move the Chaos Theory, the Bomb Scare Knee Drop and the Revolution DDT that have earned him the nickname of The Human Torture Device in the US and Japan.

The current Premier Wrestling Federation mid-heavyweight champion is being joined by fellow PWF title-holders Flying Phil Powers and The Destroyer Lee Darren, as well as European cup contender Kerry Cabrero.

Wrestling fans can expect to see some classic moves between the ropes - as well as some great theatrical rivalries in and out of the ring - in a show for all the family.

On the bill for this show will be an American rumble, tag team action, and a few solo bouts too.

The show will culminate in an all-out battle to find the King of the Ring.
