KIWI wingman Henry Fa'afili says Wolves will take confidence from their Super League win against Hull Kingston Rovers when the two sides meet again in the fourth round of the Carnegie Challenge Cup on March 31.

"I think the league win does count ahead of the cup tie," he said.

"It's a confidence boost for us. Hull KR played well against us but we showed we can play without our starting halves."

Fa'afili said there is improvement to come in his performances for Warrington, wherever he is asked to play on the field.

He helped out in the second row, as he did for a spell last season, when Adrian Morley left the field with his fractured cheekbone injury on Sunday.

Fa'afili was asked if he was happy to play in the forwards again, because there was a danger he may lose his looks.

He laughed and said: "Errh, I don't know about that.

"I don't mind where Paul Cullen puts me as long as I don't become big enough to get into the front row with Big Rah and Big Chris.

"I enjoy helping the team out and taking them forward."

* There will be more from Fa'afili in Thursday's Warrington Guardian.
