MEMBERS welcomed Mrs Anne O'Riodan as guest speaker. Her talk was about Sunshine Children' that she had taught ina school for the blind and partially sighted children, with ages ranging from 5-8 years old. Anne laid out an interesting display of teaching Aids and photography.
This month we are celebrating four members birthdays and we wish the a very happy birthday.
March's competition was 'Photo of a child' and won by Margery Firmov. All photos in the competition looked angelic. All pictures were members' grand children.
The president Pam Painter welcomed two new visitors. Both wishing to join the W.I. Sharon Holyoak and Joan Foster.
There will be no April meeting, the next meeting will be in May 31 at 7.15pm in the Linford Village Hall. Ladies from Linford W.I. attended the 90th Count Annual Meeting held at Brentwood Centre in Brentwood, the Chair was Mrs Julie Glen she welcomed all members and guests.
