CONCERNING the Catchem's End junction problem, I believe it would have been better to have installed traffic lights, allowing traffic to turn right into Bewdley instead of sending traffic over speed humps and around an island before back-tracking into Bewdley.
It isn't just locals who are complaining over this - visitors are complaining too.
Regarding the cost, money does seem to be wasted doing unnecessary highway works. It would have been more appropriate to put traffic lights at Catchem's End than the newly-installed ones further along the A456, and filling up potholes all over Wyre Forest.
If you want tourism to take off, then don't drive people away with a host of speed humps, unnecessary travelling around and don't dig the road up in towns, affecting summer trade.
