Hannah Turland from Tidworth Golf Club has been selected for the 2006/2007 England Futures Select South West squad.
Hannah, 12, who plays off a handicap of 5, has been a member of the England Birdies squad for the past two years.
Since getting a golf handicap at the age of nine she has had a string of successes including representing the UK in the World Age Group championships in the United States.
This year alone she started the year as a member of the County 1st team and went on the win the County Strokeplay Championships in May; became South West Under 15 Champion for the second year running; won the Tidworth Ladies Championship and finished fifth in the English Girls Championships at Kidderminster.
As part of the England Select South West squad Hannah receives coaching at Woodbury Park in Devon and works with a team of specialists including golf professionals, a sports psychologist, physiotherapist and physiologist.
